PCDS offers a dynamic and diverse program encompassing culture, education, curriculum, language immersion, and community service through its trips abroad as well as student and teacher exchanges and host family opportunities. Countries currently include China, Costa Rica, and Germany and countries that support our classical languages program. Summer trips vary and this year will include France and Italy. PCDS continues to explore travel opportunities that support our classical languages program and Upper School curricula.

In keeping with our Mission, the purpose of the School’s International Programs is:

to provide educational opportunities that promote
global understanding and harmony through friendship,
community service, and intercultural learning, and
to prepare students for a culturally diverse,
highly competitive, and interconnected world.

We are continually seeking additional global relationships and experiences for our students.

The School’s exchange program enables both PCDS and international students and faculty to directly experience each others' culture, learn from one another, and open doors to potential career opportunities. Our program includes student and teacher exchanges, 10-day cultural visits for students chaperoned by teachers, and chaperoned student trips during summer. A host family and mentoring program has been established, as well, to assist both guest teachers and students.
