PCDS Web Resources
for Faculty & Staff
Website resources of particular interest to faculty and staff are described below. Links to the available resources are provided along the right. One or more asterisks indicates that the resource is only available when you are logged in to your website account. Two asterisks indicate systems which require separate accounts (i.e. additional passwords) to access.
The Latest provides up-to-date news and information for the entire PCDS community. It is distributed weekly via email and is also available by clicking its link at the top of any page on the website. Similar communications are provided by each of the division offices.
Events of importance and interest to the PCDS community are recorded in the Community Calendar. It's available by clicking its link at the top of any page on the website. For instructions on entering events and schedules and on accessing the calendar that also includes the events of interest to faculty and staff, please contact the web manager.
Your Website Account
Every member of the PCDS community has a website account with a user ID and a password. (Click "I Forgot My Password" on the login page to have your password emailed to you.) While most of the site can be viewed without accessing your account, you will need to log in to view information, which is particular to you, or we do not wish to be available to the public. When logged in, a link is available on this page to change your account password. Refer to Help with Logging In to the PCDS Website for complete information.
Finding What You're Looking For
If the information for which you're looking is not in an obvious location, you can peruse the Site Map, available at the bottom right of every page, or use the site's Search feature, which, in addition to having its own page, is available at the top left of every page. Note that the Search feature can only find words on web pages, not within any graphics or linked documents.
Contacting PCDS Faculty and Staff
Click Contact Us at the top right of any page for a variety of information about how to get in touch with school offices and personnel. A search tool is provided for contacting specific individuals. The site also provides email and phone extension information anywhere an individual is identified as a teacher, coach, advisor, staff member, or administrator. The blue envelopes are icons that can be clicked to send email messages.
Faculty/Staff Information Update
When there are changes in your biographical and contact information (your "faculty/staff information"), we ask that you update them online. It is especially important that your contact information is current.
Links along the right, when logged in, provide direct access to FAweb, as well as grading information and documents specific to each division. For questions, contact Eric Neufer.
The School manages all work orders online withSchoolDude's MaintenanceDirect. For questions, contact Candace Mackey.
Payroll and other employee information is managed in ExponentHR. The Business Office provides a number of additional resources regarding your employment. Log in before accessing the page for complete information about CurrentBenefits.com, a service provided by our beneifts broker.
Library / Research Services
In addition to the many free resources available on the Internet, PCDS subscribes to a number of web-based research services that provide access to a higher quality of information and services. (If you are logged in, the database services page will display the passwords necessary for accessing these services while off-campus.)
Department Course Pages
Each Middle and Upper School course has its own page on the site. In addition to access from the department pages, links to Middle School course pages are also available on the grade level pages.
Athletic Team Pages
Middle and Upper School athletic teams also have their own pages on the site, containing schedules, rosters, directions, and game results. (You must be logged in to view team rosters, where they are available.)
PCDS Community Directory *
The PCDS Community Directory includes the Family and Campus directories, a parent email address list, and class lists. Each is searchable and printable.
