 Phoenix Country Day School is proud to celebrate our fourth year of Farmers Market at PCDS, a unique fundraising program that makes it a cinch to keep your family, and funding for Parents' Association activities, healthy! Nature's Garden Delivered (NGD) makes it possible for you to receive a box of seasonal, USDA-certified organic fruits, vegetables, and other exciting products delivered directly to your home. Proceeds help fund Parents' Association-supported activities, including Eagles' Family Nights and enrichment programs such as visiting authors, musicians, and artists.
The web-based program means you have full control over setting your family's preferences, and, new for 2012-13, managing your unlimited exchanges. Put your orders on hold for vacation at the click of a button! Order all your family's fruits and vegetables from NGD or supplement your shopping by ordering a small box of snackable healthy fruits and veggies to always have on hand for those afternoon cravings after a busy day at school! What Fresh Produce is Included in My Order?
The service is intended to replace most of your produce purchases. Choose a tiny, small, medium, or large box of organic fruits or vegetables, or a mix of both. Online management makes it easy to note your family's preferences and make exchanges so that your box includes only the items your family likes!
- Tiny - $29.95 (1-2 people)
- Small - $36.95 (2-3 people)
- Medium - $46.95 (3-4 people)
- Large - $56.95 (4+ people)
Every week, customers receive an email on Friday at noon, notifying them that a new order has been created in their account. Customers may then log in to their account to view the order, make exchanges, and add additional items.
May I Add Additional Items to my Order?
Yes! Log in to your account and open your new order. At the bottom of the order page, simply click the "Shop For More Items" button. You will be able to order meats, fish, breads, muffins, sweets, prepared foods, eggs, coffees, teas, oils, honey, and vinegars. Prices are listed with the items. Be sure to click "UPDATE ORDER" before leaving your account. Your new order and total will appear on your page. Please note that any changes or additions to your order must be made by Sunday at noon.
May I Exchange Items in my Order?
Yes! You've set your family's preferences online, but you don't want a certain item this week in your box. Log in to your account and make exchanges by clicking on the item in your order and selecting a replacement. Be sure to click "UPDATE ORDER" before leaving your account. Please note that any changes or additions to your order must be made by Sunday at noon.
Note that if you exchange items of lesser value for items of greater value, you may trigger an increase in the box price for that delivery only. You will be asked to confirm this one-time price increase before you may click on “Update Order.”
May I place a Vacation Hold on my Order?
Yes! Log in to your account and select the "Set a Vacation Hold" button from the Profile table. Provide the date range for your vacation hold -- don't forget the return date so that your service will resume upon your return. Be sure to click "UPDATE ORDER" before leaving your account.
Do I Have to Participate During the Entire School Year?
We would greatly appreciate your participation during the entire school year. You may sign up at any time during the school year.
What is the Cost?
Your credit card will be charged the amount that correlates to the box size you choose plus any additional items. Please refer to pricing above. Additional item prices are listed online.
