When an opening for a teaching or administrative position is anticipated or becomes available, the School uses national recruiting organizations such as Carney, Sandoe & Associates and other placement firms. The School also recruits candidates through faculty referrals, ads in the local newspapers, Internet websites, university placement offices, and professional organizations. Administrative and support staff openings are listed with local agencies and newspapers. Through the creation of the position of Diversity Coordinator and the use of recruiting services, the School seeks diversity when hiring faculty, staff, and administration.
