Annual Fund: Only One Month Left to Give

Did you know that 100% of faculty and staff gives to the Annual Fund each year? Let’s join them! Currently we are at 45% parent participation and need 185 more families to give to break last year’s record of 80% participation, and we have just one month to do it! If you’ve not yet given, please give today.  Any amount is greatly appreciated – it’s all about participation!

Looking to Reduce your Carbon Footprint?

Did you know that PCDS offers bus service for families to PV, Scottsdale, North Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Chandler? Next year’s routes are being set based on requests, and forms are due next Friday. One way or round trip transportation is available. Service is not available for Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten students.

Bridge-the-Gap: Auction Item Pick-Up

Ink4Kidz Basketball Tournament
5/5/2017

On Saturday, May 13, student-run non-profit Ink4Kidz will host a 4v4 basketball tournament in the Najafi Gym. $40 per team - sign-up here. All proceeds will buy summer reading books for the students of Vista Prep, a local underfunded K-5 charter school. If you can’t join but want to support the cause, donate your old children's books to the book box in the Middle School office. For more information, contact Ryan Goodman.

One-Act Comedy

On May 19, in Dorrance, at 5:45 p.m., the Upper school Scene Study acting class presents a cutting of Laundry and Bourbon, a one-act comedy by James McLure. Free admission, open to the public. At 7:00 p.m. the performing arts department will showcase highlights of the music and theatre classes, including a preview of a montage from The Little Mermaid which the Upper School cast will present at the ASU Gammage High School Musical Theater Awards Event on June 3.

Did you know? PCDS food services provider Sage Dining has a new app available - now you can see upcoming lunch menus, track allergens, plan meals, and more! Check out the video for more details. And, be sure to download the app in the Apple Store or Android Marketplace.

myPCDS Access Issues

Recent updates to the Firefox and Chrome web browsers for the Mac and PC are causing problems with myPCDS, our internal website; a variety of operations are resulting in error screens. If you encounter issues accessing the site, please use Safari on Macs and Internet Explorer or Edge on PCs.

PCDS Summer Programs, Registration Open
3/2/2017

PCDS offers a great summer experience for students in three, 2-week sessions, June 12 to July 21. Through grade 8, students create their own half-day or full-day schedule with academic classes and enrichment options in technology, sports, theater, and art. Students participating in the full-day program select afternoon electives such as arts and crafts, swimming, rec room, gym games, and more. High school students register per class.
