Drive Safely

Please always drive safely to and from campus, while also being mindful of the surrounding neighborhood. Speed limit signs are clearly posted, and students and families should exercise caution while driving to and from campus.

Godspell Musical

This year's musical is the popular rock opera, Godspell! Performances March 2-4, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Sunday at 2:00 p.m.Upper and Middle school students are collaborating to present this unusual and quirky musical. Loaded with varied musical styles, magic and illusion, comedic storytelling, and plenty of heart. Ticket information available at www.pcds.org/playtickets.

Medical Supply Donation Drive

The Upper School is sponsoring a medical supply drive with donations going to Sequoia Secondary Academy in Mesa. The drive will run from February 12- 23. We are seeking the following items: tissues, cough drops, hand sanitizer and band aids. These supplies will greatly benefit the students during this cold and flu season.

Parenting Roundtable #3 - February 27

The 3rd Parenting Roundtable will be Tuesday, February 27, from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. in the Arcosanti Gallery by the Shin Center in the Upper School. We will discuss the first three chapters of The Parents We Mean to Be by Richard Weissbourd, a child and family psychologist who directs the Making Caring Common project at Harvard. Annual Fund 2017-18 Honor Roll

Is your family's name on the Annual Fund Honor Roll list? If not, please give your tax-deductible gift to our school today and make a difference for all students and teachers at PCDS. Participation is key, and any amount is greatly appreciated.

Tax Credit 2017

Before you hand off your 2017 taxes to your accountant, make sure to let him/her know you want to redirect a portion of your AZ income taxes to PCDS through the Private School Tax Credit -- funds go towards PCDS students with demonstrated financial need.  First, contribute up to $1,089 (single filer) or $2,177 (married filer) to our foundation at www.aissf.org.  Then, claim your contribution and receive every dollar back on your state taxes. Hiking Club - February 22

The next Hiking Club is Thursday, February 22, at Pinnacle Peak. We will meet at 8:45 a.m. and start the hike promptly at 9:00 a.m. The hike is a beautiful 3.5 miles. Please allow for around 2 hours for the hike. The address is 26802 N. 102nd Way, Scottsdale, AZ 85262. Please contact Ann Wong or Racquel Miller with questions.

A Chat with Lisa Culbertson & Ben Sullivan - February 28

All PCDS parents are invited to attend a chat with PCDS Upper School Head Lisa Culbertson & Middle School Head Ben Sullivan Wednesday, February 28, from 7:50 - 9:00 a.m. in Burch Hall. Ms. Culbertson and Mr. Sullivan will present a brief talk about the happenings in the PCDS US and MS, followed by Q & A.

Website Changes: Community Calendar, Athletics

We are introducing a new Community Calendar and new Middle School and Upper School athletics pages, the beginning of a major website overhaul that will occur between now and the beginning of next school year. The calendar and athletics information will be on temporary pages until they are integrated into a new design. The new pages can be accessed from the same links that accessed the old pages on the myPCDS site.
